I have been working as a medical social worker specializing in renal social work for the past 8 years. I fulfill social work services for 2 outpatient clinics, participate on an interdisciplinary team and advocate for my patients as they adjust to the many lifestyle changes that come with being diagnosed with a chronic illness. I am also experienced in helping patients navigate health insurance options and completing quality improvement projects at my facilities. Additionally, I have served on several program planning committees, one of which organized 2 vaccination clinics in Cleveland, OH during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have been a field instructor for 2 years for BSW students.
